Moderation is key.
I think that I was doing a bad job at that before. I will confess and it may be TMI. I would have at one time 2 bags of popcorn with extra butter lots of butter and several seasonings. I would often have a bag of chips with the popcorn. I would eat other things but when it came to the other things I would do okay.
I would have oatmeal for breakfast or bacon and eggs. for lunch I would eat something like cucumbers in salad dressing or spinach, tomatoes with two sausage and then ruin it all with two bags of popcorn with lots of butter. So, I am just cutting the popcorn. I have lost weight from doing just that and I am confident that I will continue and I am not hungry and I am not trying to eat something like salad because I would rather not eat if the alternative was salad. I can't imagine "eating healthy" all the time it wouldn't be a lifestyle change, because I couldn't keep it up. I have to eat normal food and i cam really happy that it is working that is why i am writing a blog to celebrate being able to eat normal food and lose weight. I measure everytthing out to make sure I am eating only one serving of things and I switched to whole wheat v white and I don't eat any sugray snacks but I could take those or leave those yogurt with fruit is dessert enough for me. this is a change that can last a lifetime.
