Creating Healthy Habits

Our assignment for the Aspire and Inspire sparkteam is to blog about how you create healthy habits. I think the most effective way I create healthy habits is to use a habit tracker. Here is a picture of one:

You simply list the habits you want to maintain, then check them off each day as you achieve them. It is motivating to see all the checkmarks you acquire, and it’s a way of monitoring your behavior. You can also work on streaks of daily behavior (like SparkGuy Chris Downie talks about). I think a habit tracker is a very useful tool when trying to create good habits.
