Day 3 Reboot

Friday, November 16, 2018

Yesterday was a success. Did all that I needed to do regarding food intake and exercise. Glucose is a bit higher then yesterday, 166, but lower then it has been. I have been up and at 'em at 5 every morning getting my work out in and making my meals for the day. it's been a long time since I have done that, but it feels so good and refreshing. Although, now I go to bed early and hubby isn't liking that because usually after we are finished running the kids around with their after school activities and eat dinner, we send them away by 8:00 so we can talk about our day, but by 8:00 I am ready to go to bed. It will get better I know and I will be able to stay up a little longer, just not right now.

Today will be a test of my will power, emoticon . My hubby is going to try to make Tamales for the first time on his own. He is a good cook, so I know he will do great. BUT, I am a feen when it comes to Tamales, my kryptonite emoticon . In my family it is tradition to make them every holiday, my issue, I fight myself all the time not to eat to many, but oh sweet peas and rice, I love me some of those wrapped heaven treats emoticon . I did tell my husband this year I am going to do everything in my power to be good. I have a goal to meet and these delicious stuffed Masa love will not hinder me and cause me to break, not having it.

Thank you for reading my blog. Wishing you all a wonderful day.

What a great story you have! And enjoy the tamales. I know it's hard sometimes to limit ourselves but you an do it. Make sure you have some healthy sides so you can enjoy the tamale and fill up on healthier options.

Look forward to hearing how you do.
