Planning my slip ups.

I am trying to stay on track! I have started to try to plan when I’m going to have a free meal. A free meal is where I don’t have to think about what I am eating. I can have all the carbs and sugar that I like. I have learned that just because it is a free meal, doesn’t mean I should eat everything in sight.

So my next planned free meal is going to be for the Holiday party for my union on the 8th of December. There is going to be so much yummy food that I think it would be really hard for me to stick to my eating plan. I’m hoping to not over do it, but also to have enough for me to make it to next year.

BTW ... I’m at 222. I only have 23 more pounds to lose before I hit my next weight goal of 199. I did get my new jacket in yesterday but it’s a little tight. It’s a 3-in-1 that I can take out the inner layer. I can zip it up, but like I said it’s a little tight. But I feel that it’s ok since I’m losing weight. I don’t want to have a jacket that fits great right now and in a month is too big.

We have only gotten a little snow so far this season. So I’m still trying to walk as much as I can. I am also trying to stay as warm as I can. I can’t believe that there is a down side to losing weight, it’s how cold I am all the time now. I even went out and bought 32 degree outfits to wear under my clothes to keep warm. I will let you know that they work! I’m warm all the time with them on. So now I have 3 sets, so I don’t have to do laundry all the time, just every 3 days. They are really light weight, but somehow really warm. I like them a whole lot more then I ever like long-johns.

I’m still trying my best to go to the YMCA for water exercise three times a week. Today, I am picking up some floats for my ankles. It should help me remember to keep my feet flat on the ground. I have been having issues with that. Also the instructor, who was trying them out yesterday, said that her core and legs got a workout. Which is what I have been trying to work on. So I have to go to the YMCA today and pick them up. I’ll try them tomorrow before water class. It should be funny, because it was really funny watching the instructor wearing them yesterday.

    What I use to do is save up calories so I can splurge on going out or for Sunday dinner.
