What a lifestyle change looks and feels like

It feels like slogging through a week when I am demotivated
It looks like dragging myself to the gym when I feel like curling up under the covers
It feels like continuing with my healthy nutrition even though the scale is demotivating
It looks like intentionally reading my 100 reasons for losing weight to rally myself instead of quitting
It looks like doing the right thing on autopilot when I know there is icecream in the fridge emoticon
It looks like moving hubby's car out of the driveway instead of using it an excuse not to go to the gym :D
It looks and feels like not quitting and keeping the push for forward whether I feel like or not, because if I wait to feel like it, I will only make sporadic efforts. Day in, day out, a healthy lifestyle is worth hanging in there for because I know eventually a strong wind will fill my sails again. Until then, I am still here and I am NOT quitting :)
