I decided to make a serious effort to drink more water since I have been hearing so much about how it seriously does make a difference in weight loss. So, today I began the "More Water Challenge." I am so happy to celebrate my success at getting all 8 cups of water in. This has always been a challenge for me, as previously stated in my prior blog and it proved to be true again today, as well. However, I took the advice on one of Spark's blogs about starting the day with 2 cups of water before I drink my first cup of coffee when I get up in the morning. The article said it would also help rev up my metabolism for the day. Then, I drank an additional 2 cups while doing my workout on the treadmill. At lunch, I drank another 2 cups and from there it was easy to squeeze in the last two cups. My goal is to get all my water in before 3 PM because I don't want to have to run to the bathroom after I go to bed. Admittedly, I am feeling a little "water-logged" but I am hoping it will get easier if I can just keep it up. So, onward and upward. Tomorrow is a new day!
