Well, it's been 24 days since my last blog. I'm feeling better than I was....I wouldn't say I'm 100% yet, but better is certainly good.
My food, exercise and water are all over the place. The mania, teamed with holiday cravings have me a bit off. I'm still tracking daily, to the best of my ability. My weight has been fluctuating quite a bit. I got close to hitting 70 pounds lost....then a few pounds crept back on. So I'm trying everyday, but I'm not giving it 100%. My mental health has really been my main focus for the last two months. Luckily I haven't dropped the water, tracking and exercise altogether.
I did have two big wins the last two days. I was able to "shop" in my closet and comfortably wear two items I haven't ever really worn well. They both felt good and looked good. I'm kind of excited to see what other items are in there that might finally fit, or fit again.
I'm still trying to focus on fruit, veg, whole grains, lean meats, low fat dairy and healthy fats for my food choices. I definitely am not hitting the mark every meal, every day.....but it is still my goal.
We had an awesome night out last night for my sister's birthday. We went to a steakhouse on the Sacramento River Delta, in a town called Isleton. It was really good. We had a blast. My sister got spoiled, it was great.
The selfie I'm sharing was taken a few days ago.....I was feeling pretty that day. I cut my hair and highlighted it and bought some new lip gloss. Just a few little things make a big difference.
So I'm still clinging to my 60 pounds lost....I'm up and down between 290 and 283. I'm praying that I don't creep up over the holidays. I've worked hard and don't want to lose too much ground.
