Back on track

Rough week, but yesterday, I got back on track, and I'm feeling motivated today.
Started a six-week buddy challenge with the 100+ First Steps Club, and one of the tasks for today says this:
~ In a blog, write a letter to yourself about why you deserve to lose weight over the holidays and what you plan to do to accomplish this.
I'm not sure I think in terms of deserving to lose weight. I do, however, deserve to be as healthy as I can manage, and part of that is eating right and exercising, so I'm so grateful to SP and my teams for supporting that. Like my buddy for the challenge, I had to search SP for teams that are actually DOING the healthy stuff, and not just chatting about their days, but I think I've found them, and that makes me happy.
My plan for the next six weeks is simple: 100% compliance with the McDougall diet; start and maintain a minimum 10-minute exercise streak a la SparkGuy; and do my SparkTime first thing every morning even if it means getting up earlier to do it.
Historically, I do lose weight at the holidays, probably because I have to be really vigilant.
