It is time again to leave home tomorrow afternoon on our last holiday this year.
It has been exactly 29 years since we were last time in Rome. That was a family holiday to France, Austria, and Italy with our 3 children in December 1989.
Tomorrow we fly to Rome, just the two of us, and after 5 days of sightseeing, we board
Celebrity Constellation for a 15 nights the Arabian Sea and Suez Canal cruise to Abu Dhabi. On the way, we will visit Catania in Sicily, Athens, Aqaba in Jordan, and Muscat in Oman.
We have 3 days in Abu Dhabi so planning to visit Dubai on day 2.
After leaving AD we fly to Delhi where we start a 7-day tour of the Golden Triangle.
That's Agra with a Sunrise Tour of Taj Mahal and then later a tour inside the famous Red Fort built in the 16th century, an acclaimed UNESCO heritage site.
Our next city is the heritage pink washed city of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan state. We will enjoy a classic Elephant Ride to climb the uphill located Amber Fortress.
We then go to the heart of Old City to visit the residence of the Royal Family locally called Jaipur City Palace and Museum built in 1700.
After lunch, we are having a Bazaar Walk Tour and will visit Jaipur's most distinctive landmark The Palace of Winds "Hawa Mahal" built in a unique pink-coloured beehive design.
Our final full day will be spent on New Delhi city tour. Will be visiting India's popular Sikh Shrine Bangla Sahib Gurudwara, then visit Ceremonial Boulevard Raj Path seeing Colonial Government Buildings, India Gate and Connaught Place.
Next morning we fly home and arrive on 5th December.
