I had a very good week.
I measured or weighed all my food, watching portions... no sweets, no cookies,
I exercised everyday, did some weigh training
when I had the urge to snack, I got out my journal and put down the reason why I wanted to snack... then I did something else, went outside and walked, I went to the other end of the house and used my step, I looked though a magazine ....I took a shower, or did the dishes.. I called a friend..but I did not poke any food in my mouth.. I am proud of myself... I need to get back in control of my eating..
I was rewarded by having a clean house, lost weight and best of all felt good about my choices... and my self......
I'm planning next week the same way.. cooking healthy meals, planning my meals, joined a exercise group and will start a group too.. walk 3 miles 6 days a week.
Have a day where I get a treat, but not food .. I have my eye on a few new book, earrings, shoes, clothes... new rugs..
I'll keep journaliing when I get tempted to snack.. I don't buy things I don't want to eat...
I am in control ... I can do this..I will tweak as needed
