making a list and checking it twice... i love the way the apple laptop and iPhone interconnect when i make a "to do" list - and yesterday it seemed to be a mile long. started off with a haircut, ended up with a three course vegan restaurant meal (seattle is having a special week of "pris fixe" that is kind of fun), and a gazillion stops in between. when i was having my hair cut, i was asked what are you going to do today and i drew a blank - but as DH and went around i took out my phone and checked the list, and one by one, things got done. and sadly, the one thing i forgot to do on my list - go to the art gallery in ballard where our stockholm son in law currently has his work on exhibition! - i forgot (arghhh... what kind of in-laws are we?!). well, they have been distracting us with photos and news about their new baby puppy. but... i digress.

the checklist helped - and i like the sparkpeople check list too in the new planning part of the start page. but i looked for it in the sparkpeople app, and it wasn't there! what do you think, sparkpeople, can you add that planning list to the app? just a thought...

anyway, here we are, at the "butt crack of dawn" as my kids put it, heading for the airport in a little over an hour, on our way to visit our hooman puppy... er grandson, now three years old:-) and i have my vegan lunch packed, and the last of our nut mix that we brought from home... planning. more choices lie ahead, but the basics are covered and some bad choices already avoided.

as for exercise - we were in the car a lot and for the first time had to struggle to get our steps in while in seattle (usually we get more than enough with the morning coffee walk, but we got a late start), but a walk before dinner after parking, and a walk before coming home after dinner to finish off the last thousand steps, and Goal Met. today will be airport walking....

and so - so long from seattle! day planned.
