Re-asserting daily goals

I said in yesterday’s blog that I needed to re-evaluate my goals... since I was up (thank you, insomnia) I decided to write out my daily goals starting today...
1. 10 glasses of water a day
2. 5 servings of fruits and/or vegetables a day
3. 3 meals/2snacks a day
4. 73-95g of protein a day (per R.D. recommendation)
5. Switch back to plain half and half from flavored creamer
1. Walk the dog daily
2. PT exercises daily
3. Solo walk or stair laps 6X a week
4. At least 10 minutes of actual “cardio” daily
5. Research possible gym options
I do some of these most of the time already. More the exercise goals than the food goals at the moment! Getting that much protein is really difficult for me for some reason. But, I KNOW how to do this stuff, I just have to choose to do it all on a daily ongoing basis, like I had been doing before I was sick all of August and some of September. That really threw me off course... being so sick for that long. I think maybe my metabolism was affected by the fact that I barely ate for 5-6 weeks... hmmm... and then When I could eat again I ate junk... duh! Of course I would put on a few pounds! It’s really no surprise if I look at it logically...
So anyways, those are my daily goals. It’s going to be a cold, rainy day today, so it will be a good day to consider and write down my mid range and long range goals later... so maybe they will be tomorrow’s blog...
