morning cuppa spark - fall walks

well, hunting season wasn't exactly over on sunday as we thought; when we went out to one of our regular hikes first we saw one truckload of hunters on a road that is never traveled, followed by a second, and then a third was parked - and we realized that maybe the calendar was not quite right. so we retreated and headed for a Safe Walk, where we wandered for 8 miles - and tuesday ended at 32,000 fitbit steps! helped by a nighttime video, which i've gone back to since we aren't running at the moment (DH is doing fine, btw, just letting a sore hip heal before running on it again, and as he says, orthopedic injuries take TIME).
that was tuesday. and wednesday was the Last Day of Hunting Season for real - so once again back to a safe trail. glorious sunshine. and 21,000 steps by end of day. and another video... yeah, feeling good to move again.
that meal prepping worked - but today it is time for something new and it looks like it will be a curry... in the instant pot (yes, i am a convert, and highly recommend it - especially if you don't want to Spend Time in the Kitchen). watch this spot for the recipe...
