Holidays are coming.. (and so are the foods and drinks)

I absolutely LOVE this time of year! I am one of those people that starts celebrating the minute it turns 10/1, and I don't stop until ST. Patty's day in March.. (oh wait, then there's Easter, Memorial Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, July 4th, Grandparent's Day, Labor Day..) Life is too short, time flies by way too quickly and anything can happen in a moment, so whenever I can celebrate something, I do.

What I can go a little overboard with is food. And more food. Oh, and wait.. MORE food.

So, here is what I am putting out there in the universe. This year, I won't say yes to everything or even every party. This year, I will be more mindful about what and how much I am putting on my plate. This year, I will be sure to keep an eye on my energy levels, and not push myself to do more than I can. This year, I will map out a schedule of the get togethers that I have committed myself to, and adjust my weekly intake and my weekly exercise to help limit the amount of weight that will be gained.

And yes, I am even factoring in that there will be some weight gain.

And maybe, with a sprinkle of luck and a dash of willpower, the holidays this year will leave me happy, full and most importantly, healthy.
