I've pushed my exercise plan aside because there is so much we need to get done by the mid of November. It has taken me all summer to clear out my room, scrap ceiling, paint, and put things back in because I cant leave my grandma alone for a long time and because my aunt moved to second shift earlier this year. Because my room is in this condition my aunts room is full of my grandmas stuff and grandmas room was/is full of my stuff. Grandma has a hospital bed in the living room so her room is now a guest room and play room for my cousins that I watch. We also have a sun room and family room that is full of things that HAS to be gone through. There is also sooo much yard work. The only time all of this can be worked on are Sundays and Mondays when my aunt isnt working.

Something I do plan on doing is trying to head to the gym at night when my aunt gets home. It will be around midnight but I dont think I can get up early (7ish) to head to the gym. We get to bed around 2 and there have been a lot of nights where gram wakes up a couple times and sometimes we get up for about 30 mins so she can go to the bathroom.

Still working on what I eat and drink. Want to be eating right for at least 2 months because I want to go off metformin. It isnt good for your kidneys and it kills my stomach. I dont want to just stop taking it while I'm still trying to figure out what to eat and I start gaining weight and my dr. tells me to go back on it. Im scared that it will have the same effect on my stomach that it did when I first started it. Everything went through me and the cramps were horrible.

    The harder you work, the faster you get done and the more calories you burn. All that work isn't so bad when you know you're burning calories. You're multitasking.

    Small steps. Eat within calorie limits and drink lots of water. Sounds like you are activity with all the sorting and cleaning. You might want to try some stress relievers like meditation. Wishing you much success.
