It is EXTREMELY windy here. I think about one third of the red maple leaves have blown into the neighbor's yard. Great! Less for our tractor to mulch!
I am just doing some cleaning tasks here and making calls to get C-pap parts. The actual machine has not been heating the water for about 2 or more years, the machine is in its fourth year.
They are not covered by insurance until they are five years old, BUT I had different insurance before Medicare, so they should cover a new one. My doctor appointment is on October 22, so I will get him to fax the proper face-to-face documents to the medical supply company, then wait to see if the insurance will cover a new one. Four months ago, somebody in this same office across town, told me that I had to wait two more years, regardless of having different insurance., If I paid to have it repaired now, it would cost me 2/3 of the cost of the machine, so I am not going to pay for that and shipping, when I am eligible for a new one. They actually call me every few months to see if I want to order free parts. I told them I am not going to order things just because they are free. The government has to pay for part of that cost, along with my supplemental insurance. That is why costs are so high, people just take what they can get free, not what they actually need.
I NEED new gel pillows and a headset, not filters and hoses, etc.
I cannot sleep without this machine, I cannot breathe, so it is the one thing that is vital to my health
Supposedly, you are supposed to change the little filter every month, but when I look at mine, they are completely white. ONE time the filter was kind of grey a couple years ago, bit I was dusting, scrubbing,and had the windows open all day,every day, so the guck got indoors.
The woman ordered my things just now, so I am guessing I will receive them tomorrow. They are VERY fast.
