10/16/2018 Where I’m At Today

Tuesday, October 16, 2018

Today is a good day. Finished my exercising and meal planning for the day.

Today I am staying home focusing on my exercising and workout routines to tweak them. I am also waiting for FedEx for a couple of new workout suits I bought myself, as a reward. My old ones were way to large for me anymore (a sign that this program is working).

On Thursday I am expecting my new spinner-bike so that I have a new form of workout for the winter.

I am working hard for my diabetic doctor's appointment for next Monday (amazing how I now look forward to doctor appointments.)

I need to stay dedicated to the program because I know I could backslide at any time.

Thank-you for all the feedback and support from everyone.
Bill

New workout clothes and a new spinner bike are great rewards for all your hard work. Your doctor will surely be pleased with all your lab results.

Bill, things are going well! I agree, you know you are doing things right when you are looking forward to a doctor's appointment rather than dreading the truth you will be told.

Now you are happy to hear the truth!

New workout clothes in a smaller size is a great reward, as is not dreading what the doctor will say. And yay for a new inside bike! When mine wears out I'll budget for a new one...too hot/too cold/rain...it's right there. Spark on!

Yes! That's why I'm vigilant w/my program. I do NOT want to go backwards in my control of diabetes w/nutrition and exercise. Was on Metformin for 16 mths. and that was enough for me! Keep up the good work!
