Dealing with snow and Open Enrollment

Tuesday, October 16, 2018

The 2-4 inches of snow on Sunday morning was a
surprise but it has since melted away in most areas,
Church, coffee hour, lunch and a quick nap before
driving 60 miles to watch the GS play football in his
junior league playoffs. A brisk north wind and a bone-
chilling 25 degrees so we watched until half time and
then helped DD bundle the 2 littlest ones back in the
Suburban to warm up while SIL and GS toughed it out
on the field. We drove home and decided that next
year, we go to an earlier game in the season.
Open enrollment began yesterday and it is funny to
think that next year, I will be in that group of people
in line to figure out which plan is best. At least, I should
be here. After open-heart surgery and a huge health scare
with warfarin that almost ended my life, I will be content to
research health benefits for myself. Long story short, take
care of yourself.
Off and running! Another work day and only 6 more
sessions of cardiac rehab. HUGS!
