The rest of the diagnosis from the Spring

Monday, October 15, 2018

I had the carotid surgery and felt great but there was to be another procedure in my future. They found a brain aneurysm. So life happened and that surgery was delayed.

In the meantime, I realized that if the good Lord was going to take me I better make sure my hubby got hearing aids. So I checked insurance and locations and found a business 1.5 hours from us. A few visits later and hubby was doing MUCH better and the dog and I will probably NOT lose our hearing. Life is good!!

We discussed the surgery and chose to have it the Tuesday after we returned from our family reunion in IL, July17th. It was actual brain surgery, 26 staples, with 2 days in the hospital being released on the third. My CA daughter came to be with us the week after surgery and assured me that if I wanted another visit that I didn't need to take such a drastic step. lol I couldn't do much of anything for a month. No driving was killer since I don't care for dear hubby's driving. Long story short, I feel great. I had no adverse reactions to any of it. God is good!!

I'm still holding my own in ONEderland but I need to work toward my goal. I CAN do this and WE can do this!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
