A lot of life has happened in the years since I have been here. I have struggled with my weight, keeping up exercise, depression and well just life. However, in January this year I broke my wrist and that seems to have been the catalyst for getting me back to good health. I was so down about being able to do so little whilst my wrist was recovering and determined to get back to good health. My doctor was not pleased with my cholesterol, my blood pressure had gone up and I was feeling pretty low. It has taken some time to actually get started on a plan of action, nut now I am definitely settled into a plan and its working. In the last two months I have taken control of my eating, and begun to exercise every day. I have a goal to do 12000 steps (fitbit) daily and get to the gym at least 6 times a week. I have also lost nearly 10kg. I have 10 more to go to get to my goal of 70kg (goal for now that is, I may decide to go lower when I get there). I have been down below 70kg before so I know it is achievable.
Today I have been reading back through my old blogs on here and have found them so inspiring. Remembering how excited I was to be getting thinner and how happy I was to be feeling so successful had been really motivating.
I look forward to posting regularly in here again and creating a record for me and for the future me, I am so glad I have those old blog posts to read now.
