Life happens and things change unexpectedly .
We have always adapted really well.over the years. Now is different as we are struggling with the loss of our son a few months ago. Now I am the only family member for my aunt and so that is taking the extra time we had planned for our new what we call "semi-fitness" room that has a treadmill and TV tons of exercise DVD's and other mobile fitness equipment.
Now my husband and I are going to be competitively challenging one another to do the treadmill for the time that we are both able to do. As he can endure a longer time frame than I can currently. i believe it is because he gets sucked into Dr. Who episodes that he watches while walking on it.
I listen to upbeat music or I watch simpler TV shows like Dharma and Greg episodes.
This is going work for us. We did something simpler when we were first married back in the days of working out in leotards and leg warmers
It was a lot of fun and during that B.C. ( before children ) time. We could do so much more in a day and felt so much better for it.
We will might not be able to tons more or the things we used to do.
Yet we can and will feel a whole lot better for improving our fitness levels as they have really declined since May when my son Kurtis passed away.
We still have our daughter Melissa 32 and our son Jeremy 17 that are both active and doing well. They are very supportive in all of our choices.
I am loving that our treadmill is where I can shut the door if I want to as I really dislike being on display I guess you would say then
We can get more done as long as we make sure our menacing cat is out of there. She thinks the treadmill is hers and only when it is moving. She has never gotten to close it is the motor humming that she loves. We just do not trust her to stay away.
Wishing you all well as you have to adapt as well when life is throwing those curve balls at us all the time. Just remember this way your life will never be boring.
