Jumping into Fall

Earlier today I took my dog out front to eat some grass (belly issues) and while she was munching away I put her leash under a stone frog and I started to weed some. Because of situations its been very difficult to do yard work. She ate for about 8/10 minutes and I got a good area done. I stood there and thought up a plan.
When I came back in I drew up a birds eye view of our house with flower beds and blocked them out. I now have 6 areas that I can get done in 6 days. The rose bed is the one that will take the most time. Thick grass and weeds are taking it over and yet the roses are so full this year. I need to remove a layer of sod, lay thick plastic, and then cover with mulch. I also want to raise the boarder so less grass is blown in when cutting grass. That will be a good 2 to 3 days. Im going to dead head the roses and clean them up once they stop blooming.
All summer I have been like a seal on the beach, but on the couch. Its either been too hot or raining. And then on the nice days I was dead tired because my grandma decided that she didnt want to sleep the night before. I always seem to have more energy in the fall so Im taking advantage of it. Im going to make myself get up at 8 every morning (average bed time is around 1/130 am and no I cant go to bed any earlier). Im going to spend 30 minutes to an hour in the yard after I take my dog for a walk. I havent taken her for walks in a long LONG time. She will love it. I know I will be tired as hell later on so I'll just take a nap around 2 when my grandma usually does. When the yard work is done or if its raining I still want to get up early and try to do some housework. But I think I should just go to the gym since everyone else will be asleep. My aunt works 2nd shift so thats why I go to bed late.
I also gave myself a talk about how I really need to watch what I eat. Me and my aunt made a goal to each drop 20 pounds by the end of the year. This will be difficult with having 2 feasting days (Thanksgiving and Christmas). I actually have 4. Those here at home with my dads side and then again with my moms side. Going to try my best to eat half portion sizes.
