Who did I call? The gym.
Why? I didn't want to get to the gym to get bullied.
I've mentioned before in a blog how the 3 lane lap pool at the local LA Fitness (that I can see from my driveway) can become a competition to see who can swim the fastest, and if you are a slow swimmer, or a water jogger or walker, like me, they bully you out of the pool. So, I called to see when would be a good time to go. That was at 2pm. They said "now". I kinda figured that, but I was working.
But it got me to thinking. I work from home and have fairly flexible schedule. So, I thought maybe I could go at 2pm after a meeting, get my water walking/jogging in, then come home and finish my workday. Then in the evenings, two or three times a week, my MMA Kickboxing class (yes, it was the kind I'd prefer, because I actually think it would be more beneficial for my stress levels).
After realizing that the HRT hormones I'm taking are really making my hunger levels off kilter, I need to amp up things, so I better start doing that now. Besides, why am I paying for a gym membership I'm not using?
