Recovery Slow But Still Moving Forward

Fall is one of my favorite seasons! I LOVE the cooler weather. However, since my injury, my back is screaming at me to stay in bed on these cool mornings. As much as I'd like to oblige, I know the best thing is to get up and moving - however slow that is.
I started going for short walks at work this week. Although I'm not up to my normal pace or stride, I'm happy that I'm able to move (forward) - constantly grateful for how far I've come and know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
