Today I Am Grateful For...

A body capable of movement. Yesterday, after my strength training, I decided to do a fun, guided treadmill run using my favorite app by Peloton. I have have been on a 60+ week-long streak (so I have been using it consistently every week for over a year now). At first it only had cycling, strength and stretching workouts. But when the company created its state-of-the-art treadmill, new and more exciting content was added to app like treadmill runs, outdoor runs and bootcamp workouts! Still the best app bang for my buck! So all the cross training rides I have been doing have increased the strength in lower body as well as my overall endurance and aerobic conditioning. So when I decided to do a 20-min fun disco run on the treadmill yesterday after not running for awhile, the mix of hills and sprints was almost effortless. Not only was I able to jog/run most of the 20 minutes, I am back down to a 14-min mile—apparently—LOL. So yeahhh—GW or not—I’m getting fitter—no doubt.
