#30. Puzzles on my Kindle
Thursday, October 04, 2018
I have always enjoyed doing puzzles.
And these days my Kindle has become my favorite place to do them.
On the airplane I used to buy Dell puzzle books and spend the flight working them.
Now, I just bring my Kindle.
The first game I played was Spider Solitaire.
After that came Sudoku -- a real favorite.
My newest one is Jumble - where I have to unjumble letters to form words. Clues are given in the form of cartoons.
There are some puzzles that I did in the Dell books that I still need to find for my Kindle: Acrostics and MasterWords.
Actually, my Kindle Fire is what I use as a replacement for my laptop when I am traveling.
In addition to doing puzzles on it, I can:
-- access the internet, including my email
-- log onto SP to read and write blogs
-- read a book
-- read the news
-- watch a tv show or a movie.
One thing I do is keep the Kindle by my bed.
I will read or do puzzles until I get sleepy. (The Kindle emits a softer light during nighttime to avoid negative effects from the Blue light given off by tablets.)
Sometimes I can even be found reading or doing puzzles in the wee hours of the morning.
