Our last trip of the month did not include a bike ride! We were flying to Convict Lake in Mammoth Lakes, CA, the attend the wedding of our niece, Kirsten to her man Luke! The elevation is a bit of 7800 feet! I suffer with altitude sickness so following my doctors orders, we flew into Reno, NV, a day early and stayed in a place called Gold Hill, NV, just outside of Virginia City, NV. This was at about 6000 feet. We stayed in the Gold Hill Hotel. An interesting old hotel with a haunted past!
Our "kids - Huney Bunz and Jasper" buckled in and ready to fly

We stopped at a chocolate factory and enjoyed the flavors!
The next day we made it to the resort at Convict Lake and checked into our cabin. It was small but had everything we needed.
The next day we met up with other family members who were also staying in cabins

Yours truly and DH out of bike shorts, wearing make up and not sweaty!
I won't bore you with anymore pictures or stories of the wedding. Just believe me when I say there was little drama, many happy tears, and wonderful memories made.
Thanks for reading all my travel blogs. October is stay at home month and I am looking forward to it!
