Wet Feet Won't Stop Me!

Wednesday, September 26, 2018

So because I am impatient and like to stick to my plan, in the dark this morning I decided to take my walk in the rain. In less than half a block, I'd soaked my sneakers and socks, and had to go back home to change shoes (I walk on campus before work). After I got back to campus, I decided the smart girl thing to do would be walk inside this time!! This is what it used to be like, walking in my building for my exercise, so it's not that foreign to me. I guess I've spoiled myself to walks all over campus, but I like my building so it's ok. I'm still laughing at my stubbornness that resulted in soaked Vans and socks!
Have a glorious day of your choosing!

I would also like walking outdoors on a beautiful campus. But when raining, glad that you walked indoors. Have a great evening.

I've done that too! Daisy looks at me with those sad eyes and I feel like I just have to take her out. But the last time it was raining it was really raining so I decided I'd walk on the treadmill instead. Not nearly as much fun and Daisy doesn't get her walk, but so much better for me.

It's nice that you have a building you can walk in. When I worked downtown we had miles of skyways connecting our buildings so I could walk for an hour and never see the same place twice!
