#21. Back home to the scale

During this past long weekend visiting my son and his family, I paid close attention to my food intake.

However, it was a time that included many opportunities for overeating that could result in weight gain:

-- ate dinner out at a restaurant and shared a dessert
-- enjoyed a piece of birthday ice cream cake
-- brought snacks that served as meals on two six-hour flights
-- ate two breakfasts at airports before my flights
-- ate two breakfasts at a bountiful hotel breakfast buffet
-- ate junk food one night instead of a real dinner at the hotel.

Also, I did not find time for any walks during the weekend.

Fortunately, my eating for weeks BEFORE this trip had successfully established my habit of eating smaller portions.
I was satisfied with less food.

And this morning, I was rewarded with NO WEIGHT GAIN on the scale!!

I'm feeling very good about that.
