Thirty Second Weekend Fasting Cycle - 8 Hours Cooking

The fast went without a hitch. I'm posting this blog early as I don't have any reason to break the fast. I'm not hungry. For this weekend cooking, I spent 8 hours cooking today. There are 3 dishes: Beef Phad See Ew with buckwheat noodles (instead of rice noodles) featuring dried mushrooms and bamboo shoot. More Pineapple pie. This time, I added more buckwheat flour so the brewer's yeast won't be so overpowering. The beef on sticks was seasoned heavily with parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme. Yes, Simon and Garfunkel's song. In addition to garlic, onion, black peppers and salt. The beef on sticks was deep fried at 300 F, then simmered in a crock pot for 5 hours. I can't wait for Monday morning to break the fast with all 3 dishes. Yeh!
