Progress in the garden
Sunday, September 23, 2018
Well I got another 3 hours done in the garden with DH, about a third of the border by the screen wall with trellis has now been cleared and old daff bulbs replanted.
We've disposed of the honeysuckle..it's had it's day but have ordered an all yellow one which, one established will look good behind the red robin, pink hydrangea and the daffs.
Dug up a dead tree stump and prepped the ground for plants, cleared up and was just thinking of planting the Lavendula and the Heurchera around the front and down came the rain........which may run into today.
Oh well, they can wait a little longer, we'll see what the weather does!
I love being out there in the garden and once we've done all this "remodelling" the layout it'll be easier to maintain. BUT! We're presently at odds on one space and it's usage.........I'd like to have a small seated area using the concrete seat we inherited from the previous owner (the area is open to the road) ......Pete seems to think it might get stolen.............well whoever carries away will have to be MIGHTY STRONG
PS when I have some pics I'll share
