Dorothy's Journey: Chapter 78 - Saturday Adventures Begin

Sunday, September 23, 2018

Torn away from being fit, healthy and organized, Dorothy started her journey back.

Lots to get done before leaving on the weekend. Flying monkeys were going instead of her friend that couldn't make it. Dorothy thought she knew where she had put that Garman travel GPS , but try as she tried, she could not find it! Determined, Dorothy kept looking. Flying monkeys said they had one that was old and a little outdated, but it would get them to where they needed to go. The last time they used it, they still got lost because since it had not been updated, there were now roads that didn't exist on the Garmin. Arguments were sure to happen if they used it. This realization gave Dorothy renewed energy to find the Garmin. She had a half hour before she needed to get ready to find that Garmin. Glenda the good witch must have been watching over her because on her last go around putting items away from looking through drawers, Dorothy found the Garmin she was looking for! Woohoo! Dorothy got ready!

Dorothy and the flying monkeys started a little late, but started on their journey. They planned to stop at a hobby shop before also planning to attend mass before reaching their hotel. All the stops went well. Upon reaching their hotel, they used google to find reviews to find a place close by to eat dinner. They found an American fare pub where Dorothy tried a lemonade that was served in a mason jar! The adult lemonade was rather tasty! Dorothy let a flying monkey drive back to the hotel. Of course they needed to stop and get more food! Dorothy saw people go in and come out. How much food could they possibly need for an overnite trip? Finally the flying monkeys came out with a bag of food. They offered her some, to which Dorothy asked how they could possibly be hungry, they had just eaten dinner! Oh well!

The day wasn't so bad! Hopefully, tomorrow will go well! 5-4-3-2-1 Let's go!
