Snow Skiers Out There: What Do You Do to Prep for the Season?

It’s that time when I begin to dream of snowy slopes, new ski duds and long runs on pretty days. If you are like me, you may also be wondering how to make sure you are fit to reduce injuries and have stamina to make those days long and happy.

I’m told that squats and lunges are the ticket. I’ve got to think aerobics are important too, especially because most mountains are ‘at altitude.’. Duh!!! And step ups—which I have done with a trainer but not by myself. Perhaps I need to re-think that.

In any case, I am looking for ideas and hope this blog will pick some up. Would so appreciate your input if you have some opinions!
