Still working on attitude...

Monday, September 17, 2018

I've still bein working on my attitude and frustration level. This has been a long process and I have been feeling frustrated with a lack of progress. Today: 63 feet on crutches with Occupational Therapist. 120 feet walking on crutches and leg strengthening exercises with Physical Therapist. Total 60 minutes and 183 feet.

I do feel for you having gone through the recovery process before and wanting to
be able to jump right in to the things you normally do. All I can say, is it will happen,
know you are giving it your best and get those rests in too. Best to you!

    You can do this.
I know the process is not easy, but every day you will get stronger and stronger.

emoticon I know it's hard but just keep being consistent and let the therapy work for you.

A funny story (at least now it is), when I was much younger, it had an automobile accident that kept me out of commission for a period of time. I was in the doctor's office for a checkup and I raised my big toe which I hadn't been able to do since the accident. My hubby thought it was funny that I got so excited but my doctor quickly told him "if you haven't been able to move anything for this period of time, you have a right to be excited." Lesson learned by hubby. Although I had been told I wouldn't walk again in a few months I was walking on crutches and then without.

    Feel better soon.

I know how hard it is to be patient while healing. It's a slow process sometimes.
