Take it slow. i cut out drinking Coke-a-cola since about 1500 calories a day were coming from Soda, Juice and Milk. I now have about a half cup of O.J. in a quart of water or I make kool-aid with NuNatural brand stevia (It is sold on Amazon or I get mine at the health food store. It has no nasty aftertaste.) I make a cup of coffee, with a cup of skim milk and 2 cups water and have a quart of "coffee water" so in a day I get all my "water" in. I don't like diet soda at all. I found the less sugar I had, the less I craved it. I also found an endocrinologist who put me on Metformin even though my blood sugar was 115 and diabetes starts at 126. today it is 100 and I don't have night cravings.
