9/14/18 My goals for week number 2

One day at a time. This is my approach for my new beginning. I weighed myself and I am 264. I know I have a long way to go, but all accomplishments take that first big step.
Today I set a goal for myself for another week. Starting Monday, I will be cutting out bread from my diet. I will be working on eating more veggies and fruits and low fat meats.
My goal will be to have protein in my morning. I am thinking about either an omelet made with onion, bell peppers and little bit of cheese, or poached eggs, or a protein drink in the morning, or yogurt with berries and granola.
For lunch, I want to plan on eating tossed salads with either light salad dressing or home made dressing made with olive oil and vinegar and spices.
Supper, I will plan on low fat meat, my preferred meat would be chicken, veggie like green beans, broccoli, or asparagus. I got to cut out the corn, carrots , and potato . I notice I eat a lot of starch.
I will continue to walk on my treadmill at least 30 minutes, 5 days a week. The lest amount of time will be 20 minutes. I have this set because I have been having trouble with my knee.
I plan to continue to drink lots of water, herbal tea at lunch and supper and one cup of coffee with creamer in the morning.
I plan to stop by on Monday - Friday, to say hello and encourage someone on my teams.
Today's word for my own personal devotional thought is Numbers 23:19
"God is not a man that He should lie, nor a son of man that he should repent. Has he said, and will he not do? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it good?"
I have God's word to encourage my heart that I can achieve my goals. I am an overcomer, His word tells me so. As I apply myself to self discipline , all is possible. Will it be easy? No! But will it be worth it ? Yes!
