#8 Some favorites

Here are some of my favorite easy-to-put-together foods that I have made a meal out of:

-- one half of a baked (or microwaved) sweet potato - with butter and salt and pepper added

-- sliced red peppers, cucumbers, baby carrots dipped in hummus (with extra fresh lemon
juice added in)

-- whole grain toast spread with one half avocado slices (with fresh lemon juice added in)

-- a bowl of homemade vegetable soup with grated Romano cheese sprinkled on top

-- Rao's tomato sauce with a dollop of ricotta cheese (part skim milk) and slices of Italian
bread to dunk in

-- 6-9 Triscuits, each with Rao's tomato sauce and a small piece of mozzarella cheese,
melted in the microwave

-- apple slices with peanut butter on them

-- yogurt, flavored with taco seasoning, used as a dip for multi grain tortilla chips
