Today is a busy day. We went to a couple stores for more freebies. I live within a mile of all of the grocery stores and pharmacies.
DD mowed the lawn before the next round of rainstorms. She is going to stay with her dad tomorrow morning for a few days, so we have everything finished ahead of time.

I finally cut up those veggies for homemade refrigerator dills. I used carrots, celery and little cukes. It takes about five days for them to be dilly enough to eat, then they are good for about six months. I have an old gallon jug from another project, so it makes a perfect pickling jug. When we run low on the veggies in the jar, I can just add more. I will add some cauliflower and green bell peppers next.
I really got the steps in today, wandering around two huge stores and up and down the basement stairs again, at least seven trips so far.
Inflated: I do use the laundry basket or any box like that a couple step ahead of me. I usually do not use my cane on the stairs, preferring to hang on to counters and poles downstairs. I use the banister as my cane.
