My cable is fixed, but I know they will come if I ever call. I had them out here on a Saturday night during a rain storm after our big power surge a couple years ago, no problem.

I sure am getting my steps and cardio and strength workout today doing lots of laundry and bed stripping, etc. My basement stairs are ten stairs, so I am guaranteed a twenty-step up-walk with one trip. I have made at least eight trips.
The wet clothes are heavy and bulky to carry with a cane, so it is a workout for me.

I hope you're careful carrying that heavy load. Good job getting in your steps any way you can!

carrying anything upstairs anymore is a job, I have at times use a box just the right length and pulled it up the stairs sometimes. Even a clothes basket you can pull up. When my sciatic was bad there was no way I could carry anything or pick it up, so I dug a lot of strange things.

A doctor I no longer go to, told me that you can do miles on the stairs, but I have forgotten how many trips "up" the steps she said made a mile. I have 13 steps. I carry up dry, folded clothes and put the hanging clothes that are on hangers in a basket to get them up the steps. Good for you on doing the stairs with a cane. Sometimes I put the basket a couple of stairs ahead of me, then a couple more stairs. It really bothers my back to lift the basket and do all the steps at once.
