VACATION...IT WAS GREAT!!!

Tuesday, September 04, 2018

In August, I got picked up by two travelers, my mother and my youngest daughter, and the three of us took a road trip from Tennessee to Maine. Their trip started in Texas where my daughter lives, then she headed to AZ. to pick up my mother, then here for me. I got to visit friends and family that I haven't seen in at least 4 years or longer. It was a great trip, and I didn't mess up on my new eating lifestyle while I was traveling, as when I weighed in when I got home again two weeks later, I still lost 3.4 pounds. Then I went on vacation from my eating lifestyle.

BUT....I am back on track, starting Sunday September 2, I am back here again, I have started some challenges again, I am logging foods again, and I am drinking more water again. I am going to feel better and start loosing again! The scales are going to be my friend again!! I am hoping to curb the junk food junkie I picked up after I got home, so that won't continue to be my scapegoat for the weight gains.

My roommate/best friend and I, we are doing a deep cleaning/sorting/getting rid of junk...and painting the walls in our house. We have lived here for 5 years and there is stuff we haven't touched the whole time we have been here. We are adding some lighter and brighter colors into our lives thru our walls. It has been fun picking the colors and trying to agree on colors for the common areas.
