Learning my limitations
Tuesday, August 28, 2018
In my life there are so many limitations. Food limitations because they’re migraine triggers. Limitations in my flexibility. Limitations is physical activities. Asthma limitations. Allergy limitations. Vision limitations because of my macular degeneration. So sick of limitations.
I love going to the gym. It’s fun. However there’s a fine line in how much I can do. Ugh!!! I’m still learning what I can safely do without triggering major pain episodes. Fibromyalgia pain flare ups, arthritis pain flare ups, even too much can trigger darn migraines and my asthma.
I feel great doing the different exercises and all I did last week triggered major pain issues and total exhaustion. So, I’m taking things easier this week. I’m getting my steps I but not pushing for higher goals this week. At the gym I’m focusing on one machine a visit. I’m not doing Leslie Sansone walking everyday. I’m doing my minimum goals. Working on some of my strength training to see where I’m at.
I’m preparing to leave Sunday for about five weeks. This begins the insane time of the year and life will be hectic until mid February. Here’s to figuring my life out as it unfolds.
