I did some deep cleaning in one of the bathrooms today! What a workout. I am sorting through some old receipts, papers and books. I did leave two books in our cabin that I read while we were there. I sat up by the water and listened to the Lake Superior little waves hit the sand while reading.. SO nice.

This is Nathan Wright, the Native American man who makes the Minagin and Nojmuk that we use for pain and severe dermatitis and exzema. It is his booth at the Wild Blueberry Festival. His business partner, Monica, who developed the Minagin ointment, is behind him.

This is Cindy the cub. Her fur is so soft and she loves having her ears scratched, but the strawberry jam on that spoon is more important while they take our pic!

How cute is that? Yogi has nothing on these bears when people are chucking apples to them!

Aren't the Upper Taquamenon Falls beautiful? I have been visiting up here for 62 years and it never gets old. We met so many people there and even dog-sat for a couple so they could go down to the platform that is within a foot of the water. Their dogs did not like the grating on the steps and there are 94 of them, so we sat and petted them while the parents enjoyed the falls.

This is "Summer", Connie and Troy's new dog. They got her last year after Lily died two weeks after I left them. We had to take the pics through the windows because the Twins had an appointment in Escanaba so they were not home for us to visit. We just deposited their Christmas gifts on the front porch and wandered around their yard like we lived there!

Scott Falls is a tiny little grotto falls near Christmas, MIchigan right on the roadside! I am glad I have a cane, because you have to climb down into a small stream, walk across some stones, the climb up the other side and walk behind the falls too!If you wish. I wished.

Another view of Scott Falls. Ironically, Connie's maiden name is Scott!

This last one is really blurry, but it is the largest known Cinnamon bear in the U.S..

Pretty darned cute picking up an apple wedge with his claws.

Another shot of the Cinnamon bear.

This was the moon shining over Lake Superior near Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. It did not turn out the way I wanted it.

One of the cubs climbing the wall.

This is part of the walkway to get to the Upper Falls. I enjoy the flora and fauna and all of the birds along the way too.

This is how close we were to the Lower Falls. so nice..

Another part of the cascading rapids that are the Lower Falls.
