Remember the times you felt you could touch the sky as you soared on high? You could be heard from the rooftops shouting " I am strong, invincible, determined, steadfast, and nothing is going to come between me and SUCCESS!!
......::::But then out of nowhere!....
Granted, our adversary does not look like The Red Baron!
But, we do have thoughts that come out of nowhere designed to 'talk us out of' going full throttle!
Examples of Distraction:
You go to bed enthused as you recite your vows to jump up in the morning and get right to
exercise! … Clothes are laid out; perhaps you even slept in some of them LOL.
Instead, you stumble out of bed. You can't seem to find your gears or see or think past the fog. You mumble: "NO amount of coffee is going to help And sure enough- the banter begins between the voice of "I can do this" vs. "No you can't!"
"I think I will just put my feet up today and relax."
" I can always make up for it tomorrow."
Is there a better way
Yes, ACT like you HAVE energy....
Start moving, and begin doing something simple ....
.Energy will come but actions come first.
It's like trying to take off down the runway before your engine has had a chance to warm up.
Before you stay grounded for the day and go no-where do the following:
Go through your mental flight-list. .
Ask yourself: "How do I want to feel at the end of this day?
What about the commitment I made to myself?
Or should I just wait to for New Year's and then get really serious?"
Rewards always comes to those who show up and give their all!
Treat your health and fitness with the same respect and diligence you would on the job!
Buddy up with a friend who will support you and cheer each other on!
Ah! The end of the day comes and you can look back, relax with the good feeling, you
