Since the dry run turned out exactly how we planned, we just left almost everything in the car! DD removed out two rolling suitcases and the empty tub that represented our filled one(no sense in lifting that heavy tub until we have it filled and organized!), and the laptop. This will shave off about a half hour in car-packing on Saturday morning.
Instead of sending the newspapers to recycle land with the trash, we are taking them to use as fire-starters and kindling for our campfires! It is against the law in MIchigan to bring any form of wood from the Lower Peninsula to the U.P.(Upper Peninsula) due to devastating insect infestations down here that could decimate the forests up there, so we can take the papers and buy our firewood from the cabin owner. They provide one bundle for the first night you are there, then you can buy more later. I missed the free shredding at the C.U., so I will just take my documents up with us and burn them in the fires!
