Happenings and Mishap

I ran this morning. With walking warm up and cool down, I made 6 miles. Couldn't start at sunrise because I had a 7 year old who spent the night to take to school at 7:30am. A neighbor out walking his dog teased me about running circles in the shady spots, but why not?? I even ran the hill more than the flat because it was the shadiest stretch around!
Do you remember about 3 weeks ago or so when the band came off my Garmin Vivosmart HR activity tracker? And I glued it on with super glue and it seemed as good as new?? Well, the other side of the band came off. I was delighted that the glue container has a good design and I got to use the same super glue more than once for once! That is not where my focus should have been. That side has a button on it. I glued the button. Oh, no.
I can still see the watch time. When I need to charge it, an icon comes up. I can't access how much charge is left until it needs charging. I can see total steps, flights of stairs, calories burned, mileage for the day. I can see the intense minutes of exercise for the week. It still tells me when I need to move and when my move bar has cleared. I can not see this data for a specific run or walk like I used to. I can see my current heart rate, my resting heart rate, and the low and high for the past 4 hours. I rarely use the music, weather, and notifications anyway. Pretty much I can still use it.
Some day I will replace it. Not today.
