My Active Exercise Has Revealed Good Results in My Yearly Blood Tests
Tuesday, August 14, 2018
I am 63, I get a yearly physical due to health and my long term heart disease issues. This year was a very good year for me. I do exercise everyday. I go to the gym 4 to 5 days per week. I mix up cardio and strength exercises. However, cardio is my favorite. My family has suffered from diabetes. A few years ago, I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes. It scared me to see that result. I do not want diabetes along with heart disease.
My fasting blood sugar level is 78. This is a normal level for a non diabetic person. I was very relieved to see this. Also my LDL/HDL and cholesterol were normal. Exercise has really helped me with my results. All of the other tests were very good as well. I am borderline with the TSH test (thyroid) and not ready for any meds concerning this. I feel relieved.
I told the doctor that due to my borderline TSH level I am disappointed that I cannot seem to drop weight. I normally eat within my calorie range and exercise. My doctor told me do not worry so much about losing weight. Continue to exercise whether I lose weight or not. The benefits of exercise contributes to our health and so important. What a good statement.
