No gold star today

Sunday, August 12, 2018

I started the day out on the wrong side of the bed. Before I got involved in much of anything I decided the table from the fest needed to come in the house today. I didn't realize how hot it was at 8 this morning and could hardly breathe by the time I carried it in. Now it is only a 4' long plastic table. Not even heavy but it sure set off a day of asthma problems. I still did get some things done. A dino got finished along with all the things that need to be appliqued onto the next row. This one is going to take me forever.

Enjoyed my roasted veggies along with a pork steak today. But the steak was so big I had it for lunch and dinner. And now that pan of veggies is gone. Guess I'll have to make some more tomorrow. I still have carrots and parsnips. As the day when on I just started to drag. Wanted to lay on the couch and not even care what the TV was doing.

Thank fulls
1. The table is in the house.
2. Laundry is all done and put away
3. It is supposed to be cooler tomorrow.

Since the dino's are almost all done I might have to put the rows aside for a couple of days while I finish up the baby quilt. It needs to get to my daughter before school starts in Sept.
At least the other parts of it are not nearly as hard to make as the dino's. I also took a really good look as some of the other rows I wanted to make. MMMMM some of them are kind of hard.

I know what you mean about a day getting off on the wrong foot - woke up with a sinus infection after a toss-and-turn night, and then the battery was dead in my car! Making the decision that these are small things in the greater scheme and that I'll have a good day ANYWAY!

Calamite, I am sorry about your asthma problems. Hope you are feeling better. emoticon

Your meal sounds delicious and healthy … lots of veggies. emoticon emoticon

You are so talented with your quilting and sewing. My mom and aunt was that way; but, no, that's not a talent I inherited. Keep on giving others joy with your offerings.
