I did finally get some quiet time to myself! Not quite enough, but I'll take what I can get. School starts August 23rd, so my quiet days will be back until I have to start accompanying.
Anyway, church went well this morning. Our intern pastor, Vicar Tony, gave the sermon this morning. Part of the reason he did was because Pastor was on vacation this week. He was back Friday, but this way he didn't have to stress about writing a sermon. Vicar Tony did a pretty good job. Just getting his toes wet. He's only been here since August 1st!
I've been home since after church. I haven't really done much of anything. It's been nice. Mike and the boys left about 12:40 to head to Greenfield. The Scouts were kayaking at the Greenfield Lake. Following that was the Court of Honor and potluck. I did make hash brown casserole for it. Mike came home and got everything and headed back out for the meal. I didn't want to be tempted by all the junk food, so I stayed home and had a healthy supper! So, I had about 6 hours to myself. I did get the dishes washed and swept the kitchen floor. For the most part I have relaxed today.
1. Nutrition: mostly a good day, did have a snack of blue corn Tostitos.
2. Fitness: Rest day
3. Personal: Read my Bible and devotional. Finished a magazine and worked on Sudoku. Will have prayer/journal time before bed
Tomorrow - nothing on the agenda other than it being my baby sister's 40th birthday. I'm surprised that nothing was planned. My family has gotten lazy about that lately. I will tackle some cleaning and laundry.
