I haven't been here for over a year now and started eating properly 3 days ago. I'm on day 3 and it isn't easy. But I need to get the weight off in order to enjoy my life with my husband, daughter, SIL and grandbaby, so I'm going to keep working at this regularly. I told my husband that he needs to be strong for me, because we are "partners in crime" and overeat or eat the wrong types of foods together.
We agreed to stop eating any fast food and to stop buying desserts and bringing them home. I'm going to track, track, track and try to get enough weight off so that I can start exercising again. I am at 259, had a severe meniscus tear on Memorial Day this year, and am hobbling around unable to do much. I've got to get about 100 lbs off of me so that my knee can have a chance to heal. I'm using crutches and a walker to get around right now and I'm hoping I can heal it on it's own without surgery.
