I'm so happy to report that I have finally found what works for my body to lose weight and 2 weeks into a program I have lost 4 lbs and several inches. I follow the FITera eating plan and exercise 30 minutes each day, sometimes more.
Finding the motivation to commit (again) to a daily exercise regimen came hard for me. But I dug deep and committed and am very happy now that I did. It feels great to be active daily again, my body loves it and so does my mind and soul. I don't ever want to go back to the sloth I've been the last couple of years. Lung problems had a lot to do with my exercise routine coming to a grinding halt a couple of years ago and then a desk job (the first I've ever had in 40 years of working) put about 12 lbs on me in just over a year.
So I'm just about losing the postmenopausal and desk job weight gain in a healthy way. No starvation, no crazy hours and hours of exercise each day, no brutal-to-my-lungs 45 minute Tabata sessions. Just eating well in a structured fashion (the FITera way) and doing circuit training with abs and some country line dancing in between each week to add up to fun, fitness and weight loss.
